Vocal Nights with Mexican Hermit

Mexican “Jordi” Hermit is a multi-instrumentalist from the Land of Enchantment. Born in Albuquerque into a musical family. Started studying Tibetan and Mongolian chanting in 1994. In 2000 he initiated studies of observational techniques by Gurdjieff and other famous masters. EIn this time he also began the study of EMDR, Hypnosis, Osho Meditations and Native American forms of healing under the tutelage of Master R. Ulacia. In 2004; Tai qi, Gung Fu and Daoisim shine light on his way. From this moment on, several journeys were made to different parts of the world; China, Cambodia, Myanmar, then Africa and later Europe. Encountered various temples, teachers and practitioners with whom knowledge and healings where shared. In 2006, he began studying Transcendental Meditation, Reiki and, Chinese culture and language. Between 2005 and 2010 he studied in many places: Londons' Drum Tech in England and, in the US, schools in Berkeley, CA, New York City and at Boston’s Berklee Collage of Music. In the year 2008, he started the practice of Yoga and Deeksha. Also from this year on, studied Mantrams, Tantra and Tibetan Mental Physics. Other studies and practices from the year 2012 on: Synergy, EndoTypes, Biologic Creativity, Nutrition, Preventive Medicine, Healing Sounds and WingChun. In 2015 he developed Incantation Vocal Practice. Jordi has been teaching music for over 20 years. He is also the singer and songwriter of the band Planetarius and his personal project; Mexican Hermit. He moved to San Diego in 2018 and has worked for School of Rock and Soccer Shots.
